Neverland Valley Ranch in Santa Barbara County, California.
The ranch was bought by the legendary dancer pop singer Michael Jackson.
Michael bought the ranch in 1988 from William Bone.
Michael decided to call the ranch ¨Neverland¨.
It is named after Neverland , the fantasy island in the story of Peter Pan, a boy who never grows up.
The ranch is located five miles north to the Los Olivos, and about eight miles
North of the town of Santards Ynaz.
The ranch was the home of Michael and his private amusement park.
It was kept by 40 guards and contained among other things a floral clock ,numerous statues of children ,a zoo, ferris wheel, carousel, octopus, pirate ship, wave swinger, super slide, dragon wagon kiddie, roller coaster and bumper cars.
In 1992 Michael established the foundation ¨Heal The World¨.
Michael wanted to help poor and hungry children so they can enjoy the entertainment facilities. also the money is donated to children in areas of famine, war and disease.
Michael said in 2005 that he would not return to Neverland because he no longer considered the ranch a home, feeling the 70 police officers had ¨violated it in their searches.
Michael no longer lived there.
The facilities were closed the staff was fired.

Newspapers published rumors that Michael sold the ranch to Sycamore Valley Ranch (who is also one of it's shareholders).
The rumors says that Michael sold the ranch because it was in enormous debt,
On the other hand newspapers published rumors that Michael did not sell the ranch.
Following Michael's death newspapers reported that Michael's family would bury him there, but the reports were incorrect the Jackson family wants to make the ranch a pilgrimage site for the fans.
In my opinion Neverland is an extraordinary place and therefore it should remain an eternal memorial for the future generations.
Because this is what Michael Jackson wanted !
